ngl starting out is rough and chat is toxic as hell but dont sweat it too much. ive played hundreds of hours and in my experience the safest bet for xxx right now is focusing on their recon and defensive utility. i always go for the scan and the wall skills first because theyre reliable and hard to mess up... unlike the high skill cap stuff that gets you roasted if you miss. i actually found it way easier to manage my skills after i picked up the Logitech G502 HERO Wired Gaming Mouse 25600 DPI because i could just map my most important moves to the thumb buttons. honestly it keeps you from fumbling the keys when things get hectic. just play it safe and ignore the haters until you get the hang of the timings... youll get there eventually lol.

I've tried many builds over the years, and swapping the defensive wall for the mobility dash changed everything. Dash is a lifesaver when you're out of position, whereas walls need too much map knowledge. Also, moving to a Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro Mechanical Keyboard helped my skill timing more than my old board. Dont let the flamers get to you!

I'm gonna have to disagree with the dash recommendation tho. Over the years I've found that area denial smokes are way better for new players. Dash usually just gets you into trouble faster if you dont know the maps...
