sorry if this is a dumb question but im so lost with these agent skills. i was thinking the shield thingy was the way to go because my logic was more health equals winning? but my teammates keep yelling.

i need to hit level 15 by friday for a friends stream. what skills actually help everyone else...

dont even worry about the yelling, honestly everyone goes through that phase when they first start out. I've been playing these types of tactical games for years and in my experience the personal shield is almost always a trap. It feels good for you, but it doesnt do anything for the guys standing next to you, which is why your teammates are getting tilted. If you wanna hit level 15 by Friday, you should focus on skills that give the team value without costing a ton of in-game credits or requiring expensive gear. Stick to the budget-friendly starter agents because they actually have the best utility for learning the ropes. Here is what you should be running:

  • Recon or Scans: Basically any skill that reveals enemy positions. Information is king in this game and helps everyone survive.
  • Area Denial: Use smokes or slow fields to block off parts of the map. If you can stop a push with one button, your team will love you.
  • Team Buffs: Skills that boost reload speed or offer small heals to everyone are way better than selfish buffs. If youre struggling with placing these skills accurately because of your hardware, grabbing a solid budget mouse like the Logitech G203 Wired Gaming Mouse 8000 DPI will help your precision a ton without costing a fortune. Its basically the best bang-for-your-buck tool for getting those skill shots right. Stick to the free skills for now and save your currency for the level 20 unlocks. Youll hit your goal in no time, just keep grinding!

TL;DR: Grab info-gathering skills. I spent weeks thinking more HP was the play, but I just ended up being the last one alive with zero impact. It sucks. I would suggest being careful with selfish buffs because you might accidentally bait your team. Definitely check the skill breakdowns on the community wiki, they have the actual utility numbers. Good luck with the level 15 grind!
