Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to keep up with the market lately, but the sheer volume of data is becoming pretty overwhelming. I’m looking for a reliable AI tool that can help me identify emerging trends or patterns before they fully play out. I’ve dabbled with some basic screeners, but I really need something that can integrate technical indicators like RSI with real-time news sentiment analysis. I’m specifically looking for a platform that offers solid backtesting features so I can see how its predictions have actually performed. Has anyone here found an AI assistant or software that truly provides an edge in your strategy? I'd love to hear your recommendations!
Respectfully, I'd consider another option instead of just relying on the big screeners. I'm still kinda new to this, but from a market research perspective, Tickeron AI Robot has been way more helpful for me lately.
- It handles the backtesting much better than the basic tools.
- The real-time sentiment actually feels fast, you know?
- Plus, the Trade Ideas Premium subscription is also great if you want that technical RSI edge.
I've been pretty satisfied so far, but honestly, maybe don't go all in yet? GL!
Similar situation here! I went through this last year trying to blend news sentiment with momentum indicators... basically, most tools struggle with data lag. I finally got my current setup to sync real-time feeds with my backtesting engine. It’s AMAZING seeing the patterns click, but honestly, dont trust the math blindly!! I spent months verifying everything cuz overfitting is a nightmare. I lowkey love the tech, but stay CAUTIOUS out there!
I'd suggest checking out TrendSpider for that RSI and sentiment combo. It’s solid, but honestly, dont trust AI blindly—always use small positions and stay CAUTIOUS, okay? GL!

Same setup here, love it

Respectfully, I'd actually look at TradingView Premium! It's SO much cheaper for beginners and handles local market hours and regional taxes better for backtesting... honestly, it's just more practical!
In my experience, finding an AI that actually works without breaking the bank is tough. I've tried a few things and unfortunately, most of the cheap ones had issues with real-time news. It's realy frustrating when the 'sentiment' updates ten minutes after the move already happened. I'm still kinda new to this, but here's how I see the value right now:
* Go with TradingView if you want the best community support and decent technicals, tho the 'AI' stuff is mostly third-party scripts.
* Just get TradeStation if you want serious backtesting. It's more of a 'professional' vibe but it's definately more reliable for data.
* Maybe try Koyfin for the news side of things, it's pretty clean for a budget.
Honestly, paying a bit more for a big brand is better than getting scammed by some random 'AI bot' from a YouTube ad. Just watch those monthly costs cuz they add up fast... gl!
Ok so, I'd actually suggest a different approach—instead of jumping straight into dedicated AI screeners. I've been at this for years and iirc, most tools that promise "sentiment + RSI" in one box usually fail the backtesting test over the long haul because the news lag is just too highkey. I think looking into more robust, institutional-grade data APIs and building a custom bridge might be better, tho it's a bit more work. Honestly, the "edge" is usually in the custom filters, not the shiny AI wrapper.
Yeah, it’s honestly a lot to take in. I’ve been looking into the *why* behind these AI picks lately because most tools feel like a black box. Idk if this is too technical, but I’ve been reading about "Explainable AI" (XAI) and it’s basically a game changer for actually trusting the math. - Danelfin: I’ve been playing with this one. It uses an AI score but actually breaks down which technicals (like RSI) or fundamental metrics are moving the needle. It helps you see if the "trend" is actually backed by data or just noise.
- NLP Models: For the news part, you really want something that uses FinBERT. It’s a specific type of AI trained on financial text so it understands that a word like "crushing" can be good or bad depending on the context, you know?
- Out-of-Sample Testing: When you look at backtesting, make sure they aren't just "overfitting." Basically, the AI shouldn't just memorize the past; it needs to prove it works on data it’s never seen before. Tbh, I’m still learning, but has anyone noticed if these sentiment scores lag during pre-market? That's the part that still trips me up.
I'm still kinda new to the actual trading side, but I've been geeking out on the data specs lately. I recently started playing around with Composer because it lets you build these logic 'symphonies' using technical indicators like RSI without needing to write full Python scripts. Honestly, it’s been a bit of a learning curve for me!! One thing I’ve noticed is that the 'sentiment' part is so tricky to get right because news moves way faster than most APIs can process, you know? Basically, my tip is to really scrutinize the data sources the AI is using. I spent way too much time wondering why my backtests were failing until I realized I was basically just overfitting to old news. Does anyone know if these tools actually use real-time LLM processing for the sentiment stuff, or is it just keyword matching?? I'm trying to find something that feels more 'technical' but I'm still figuring it all out tbh. It’s definitely a rabbit hole once you start looking at the specs!
