I'm literally pulling my hair out trying to understand even the basics of AI. My boss said I need to start using it for our marketing reports but I dont even know what I'm looking at most of the time. Everything I find on Google is just math or super techy stuff and it makes my brain hurt lol. I have like a $20 budget for this month and I really need to get the hang of this before my performance review in ten days. Is there just like a simple app on my phone I can use to learn? Like Duolingo but for AI? I feel so behind and just need something that doesnt use crazy jargon... what is the best app for a total beginner who knows nothing??
Unfortunately most apps lack technical depth, though I found these cover LLM architecture basics well:
TL;DR: Use Sololearn AI and Machine Learning Basics to save your cash. I had a similar scare with my boss last quarter. Honestly, you might want to be careful with big platforms because they upsell pricey certificates you dont need. The free bits of Sololearn AI and Machine Learning Basics worked for me on my phone. Just make sure to focus on the prompting sections tho... that is what actually helps with marketing reports.
^ This. Also, just catching up on this thread and I love the energy! Enki and Sololearn were suggested earlier and they are fantastic for technical bits, but for marketing reports, you need to focus on how AI actually helps you work. Honestly, dont let the math scare you because you wont even use it. So excited for you! AI is amazing once you see it as a tool. Since you have ten days, here is my plan:
Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.
