Which Chrome extensions are best for improving ChatGPT's productivity?

Ive been using ChatGPT basically since it launched back in the 3.5 days and I usually consider myself pretty tech-savvy when it comes to prompt engineering and all that stuff but honestly the native web interface is starting to feel super clunky now that my workflow is getting more intense. Im currently working on a massive contract review project for my freelance paralegal gig here in Seattle and the sheer amount of copy-pasting I have to do is driving me crazy even with the new updates OpenAI pushed recently. I saw some guy on YouTube using this crazy sidebar extension that had pre-built prompt templates and it even seemed to scrape live web data way faster than the default Browse with Bing feature which always seems to hang for me or just give up halfway through. I’m totally down to spend like $15 bucks a month if there’s a pro version of something that actually works and saves me time because I have a hard deadline in about three weeks to finish these audits and I need to be as efficient as possible. I tried one called AIPRM a while back but it felt a bit cluttered and I’m looking for something more streamlined that maybe adds folders or better history management so I dont lose my best prompts. What are you guys actually using day-to-day to make the UI less of a headache and really supercharge the output...

Saw this earlier today while working. Since you are doing contract reviews in Seattle, you really gotta be careful about where that data goes... most extensions are privacy nightmares tbh. Ive been very satisfied with MaxAI.me AI Sidekick for Chrome and Edge for my own research projects lately. Its stable and doesnt feel like a toy compared to some of the other cluttered options out there.

  • The sidebar stays tucked away until you need it, so no UI clutter during your audits.
  • You can save your specific legal prompts into custom folders which definitely solves your history management problem.
  • Web access is fast and actually pulls the text instead of just hanging like the native Bing browse usually does. I pay for the pro version and its been worth every penny for the reliability alone. No complaints so far, it just works without the headache.

To add to the point above: I've tried many extensions, but Superpower ChatGPT Chrome Extension for Folders is much safer. It adds folders for free, so you won't waste money on buggy subscriptions.

Yeah honestly the default UI is such a chore for heavy work, I totally feel you on that copy-pasting struggle. I was also super overwhelmed by those cluttered prompt marketplaces, way too much noise for my taste. Im really satisfied with using a sidebar setup lately tho, it works well having prompts right next to your research. Honestly, just having a simple folder system has saved my sanity. No complaints here!
