I'm freaking out because the season ends in like three days and I still haven't cleared the final boss with my Openclaw build. I have enough points to max out one more major skill but I'm totally stuck between Razor Swipe and Shadow Rend.
Razor seems faster for stacking bleed stacks but everyone says Shadow Rend has better raw burst damage when you're geared for crit which I am. My budget for respecing is basically zero now so I gotta get this right the first time or I'm toast. Which one is actually gonna give me the highest DPS for single target stuff?
> Razor seems faster for stacking bleed stacks but everyone says Shadow Rend has better raw burst damage Honestly im really happy with how Razor Swipe performs for my character. It just feels more reliable and safe when you're still learning the boss patterns. I havent had any complaints with the damage output since it keeps the pressure on constantly... Since you said you have zero budget left, maybe going the more consistent route is better? Just curious tho, are you struggling more with the boss mechanics or are you just hitting an enrage timer? If it's mechanics, the speed from Razor might help you dodge better. Quick tip: try to prioritize your positioning over maxing every single hit. I found that using a Razer DeathAdder V2 Gaming Mouse with 20K DPI Optical Sensor really helped my click accuracy during those hectic final phases. It works well for me and I havent felt the need to change anything since!
Shadow Rend is amazing for a reliable finish! Quick question tho, are you sitting at the crit cap yet or still relying on lucky procs during the fight?
yo just jumping in here since the season clock is ticking and i know that stress lol. before you commit your last points, what boss are you actually stuck on? some of them have phase transitions that completely wipe bleed stacks, which makes Razor Swipe a total bait if you cant keep the pressure up. if youre really looking for high dps without spending a dime on a respec, you might wanna check out Feral Pounce instead of the usual two choices. its honestly a sleeper pick for crit builds because:
