Just grabbed my Openclaw gauntlets and I'm hyped to finally melt bosses! Im torn between two skills:
Ive only got 10 points left before our guild raid tonight so I gotta pick fast. Which one actually hits harder for a pure DPS build? I'm leaning toward speed but bleeds look tempting...
Yo! Just saw this thread and had to jump in because I have been maining Openclaw for months. Phantom Slash is cool for the speed but if you want that absolute peak DPS for raids you gotta look at the synergy with Feral Frenzy. It is honestly amazing for sustained damage and lets you hit like a truck! Regarding what #1 said about "Dude, I just went through this exact same..." - while Phantom Slash is the popular pick, I think Feral Frenzy is the secret sauce for those top-tier parses. Here is why:
Dude, I just went through this exact same thing last week! You gotta go with Phantom Slash for the pure DPS, it is absolutely amazing for melting those boss health bars. I love how fast it procs! Ripping Strike is okay if you're trying to save on mana potions because it is way more cost-effective for long grinding sessions, but for a raid? Phantom Slash all the way. To really nail the timing, I use my Logitech G502 HERO High Performance Wired Gaming Mouse 25600 DPI and it feels so smooth. It's fantastic for spamming those high-speed skills without any lag. Honestly, just dump those 10 points into Phantom Slash and you'll see the difference immediately in the raid tonight. Ngl, the speed buff you get is basically a cheat code for high DPS builds. Good luck!
Would love to know this too
Building on the earlier suggestion, i agree on the synergy, so dont ignore Savage Bite for bleed scaling. TL;DR: Bite wins. Grab the Razer DeathAdder Essential Wired 6400 DPI Gaming Mouse for cheap macros.
ngl if you want to save points and still hit hard, i actually prefer Precision Cut over those two. its way more reliable and doesnt have the high mana drain. but if youre set on your current picks, Ripping Strike is the safer bet for a raid. as for gear, you really dont need to drop big money. i compared the Redragon M612 Predator RGB Gaming Mouse against those expensive Logitech models and honestly the performance is pretty much identical for way less cash. its all about being efficient with your resources, both in-game and out. dont overcomplicate it for the raid tonight.
