Ive been stuck in silver 2 for literally 3 months now and its getting annoying lol. I usually play Jett or Reyna since I like the solo carry potential but I cant decide where to focus my practice time since I only have like 8-10 hours a week to play. Im torn between three things right now:
Im leaning towards aim because my flicks are trash but maybe movement is more important for not dying? Just trying to figure out what actually has the biggest impact when my team is zero help and I have to carry the lobby...
> Im leaning towards aim because my flicks are trash Honestly, raw aim training was pretty disappointing for me. I spent weeks on it and unfortunately my rank stayed the same. Its not as good as expected for actual games tho. Just focus on entry utility and simple crosshair placement. Its way safer and more reliable. I still use a budget Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse 12000 DPI I got on sale and it basically beats the pricey gear anyway.
tbh i think people overcomplicate the silver grind. i was in the same boat and honestly just focusing on my crosshair placement and safe entries made the biggest difference. its not flashy but it works well and i have no complaints. i stopped trying to be a movement god and just focused on holding solid angles. i also picked up a SteelSeries QcK Heavy Cloth Gaming Mousepad Large for like $15 and it made my aim feel way more stable. its a super reliable choice if you want consistency without spending a ton of money. just focus on learning where to put your crosshair before you even peek. its way safer than trying to flick like a pro when your team isnt helping. you dont need 10 hours of aimlabs if you just stop staring at the floor lol. TL;DR: prioritize crosshair placement and map knowledge over crazy aim training. cheap, reliable gear helps keep things consistent.
Unfortunately raw aim trainers werent as good as expected for me. I had issues with mechanical translation because aim is nothing without proper movement. Focus on these technical areas instead:
