I am seriously about to lose my mind with this Openclaw build. Like I spent all weekend grinding for the Voidshredder set thinking it would finally make my damage numbers look decent but i just ran a test on the dummy and then a real boss run and I was bottom of the charts. Again. Its so demoralizing when you put in the hours and the result is just... nothing. I am honestly fed up with how vague the skill descriptions are in this game.
So I was thinking that maybe the issue is my rotation or I am just picking the wrong main skills for single target. My logic was that Rending Swipe would be the way to go because of the 15% bleed stack but the animation lock is so long that the boss just walks away or hits me mid-swing and I lose the whole combo. Then I tried switching over to the Feral Pounce build for the mobility but the DPS drop-off is insane. Its like i can move around fine but I am hitting like a wet noodle.
Ive got a massive raid with my guild this Saturday night—its our first time hitting the Sunken Temple—and I really dont want to be the person everyone has to carry because my build is trash. I have already burned through about 60 gold just on respec tokens trying to figure this out on my own and I am basically broke now so I cant really afford to keep experimenting blindly.
Is there a specific combo for Openclaw that actually scales well for bosses? Should I be focusing on the raw physical power side of the tree or is there some weird elemental conversion I am missing? Every guide I find online is like three patches old and half the skills they mention have been nerfed into the ground since then. I just need to know which three or four skills are actually gonna give me the highest consistent DPS so I dont get kicked from my group...
Saw this earlier. Burning through all my gold on respecs back in the day was a total nightmare... Better to stay away from high-risk bleed builds for now. Be careful with Rending Swipe because that animation lock is basically a death trap in Sunken Temple.
^ This. Also, maybe consider a more defensive setup... I actually lost a whole raid night once by being too aggressive with my clicks. It really sucks. Getting a Corsair Scimitar RGB Elite MOBA/MMO Gaming Mouse helped me keep my cooldowns accessible.
