I'm looking for suggestions on effective prompts to use with Sora. Whether you're a seasoned user or just starting out, I would love to hear what prompts have worked well for you. Any tips on how to structure these prompts for better results would also be appreciated!

Some suggestions:

  1. Dynamic Nature Scenes:
  • "A serene mountain lake at sunrise, with gentle ripples on the water and birds flying overhead"
  • "Cherry blossoms falling in a Japanese garden during a gentle breeze"
  1. Urban/City Scenes:
  • "A timelapse of a bustling city street transitioning from day to night"
  • "A drone shot following a train as it winds through a modern cityscape"
  1. Fantasy/Surreal:
  • "A magical library where books float through the air and pages turn themselves"
  • "A bioluminescent forest with glowing mushrooms and ethereal floating particles"
  1. Action Sequences:
  • "A paper airplane flying through different environments"
  • "Water droplets dancing in slow motion"

Late to the party but this whole thread is 💯. Glad I found it.

Like someone mentioned, simplicity is key if you want to avoid those weird AI glitches. You might want to consider focusing on micro-movements instead of huge cinematic sweeps to keep things looking real. If you go too crazy with the movement, the physics can get pretty messy, so be careful with that. I would suggest these for more reliable outputs:

  • A slow-motion macro shot of a single raindrop hitting a green leaf, showing the vibration and the water splashing.
  • A stationary camera filming a professional chefs knife slicing through a ripe tomato on a wooden board.
  • Soft morning light hitting a glass of water on a bedside table, with dust motes dancing in the light beam. Basically, the less the camera moves, the better the texture rendering usually is. I always check my final clips on my ASUS ProArt PA32UCG-K 32 inch 4K HDR because it really shows if the shadows are flickering. If you're having trouble with specific textures like fur or liquid, let me know and I can try to help you tweak the wording.

Here are some creative prompts for Sora to generate captivating video content:

Cinematic: A woman in black leather and red dress walks down a neon-lit Tokyo street, reflective surfaces mirroring the vibrant cityscape. A drone captures waves crashing against Big Sur's cliffs at golden hour.

Fantasy: A cathedral filled with cats, where a man bows to their majestic feline king. A retro-styled trailer featuring a spaceman in a red knitted helmet against a desert backdrop.

Nature: Woolly mammoths traverse a snowy landscape beneath dramatic mountain peaks. An orange octopus camouflages itself as a king crab approaches stealthily.

Surreal: Inside a glass sphere, a tiny dwarf tends to a miniature zen garden. Paper airplanes migrate through a dense jungle like a flock of exotic birds.

Quirky Life: A persistent cat tries multiple tactics to wake its owner for breakfast. A peaceful beach scene is disrupted when a shark unexpectedly breaches the water, startling beachgoers.

These prompts showcase Sora's potential for creating diverse, visually striking videos across different genres and styles.
