Tried several same prompts, seems HaiLuo is better than Sora currently.

From Example: "A bustling day at Machu Picchu during Incan prehistoric times. Show the Incan people gathering resources and going about their day in harmony with the majestic surroundings. Include farmers tending to the terraced fields, artisans crafting pottery and weaving colorful textiles, and elders performing rituals at a sacred altar. Children play near llamas while others carry baskets of harvested maize and potatoes. Highlight the grandeur of the stone structures, the lush greenery of the Andes, and the morning mist lifting to reveal a vibrant, thriving community. Emphasize cultural richness, teamwork, and connection to the land."

Honestly, stick to tools that have stable rendering pipelines. Generating historical scenes with complex crowds is tricky because most models hallucinate physics or geometry errors when things get busy. If you want something that keeps the lighting consistent and actually respects the prompt architecture, you might want to consider Luma AI Dream Machine for those specific textures. Be careful with these newer platforms though, sometimes the visual fidelity looks great but the temporal consistency falls apart as soon as you pan the camera. Make sure to:

  • Check for floating artifacts around the edges
  • Watch the character limbs during movement
  • Verify that the background stone textures arent morphing I would suggest running a few control tests before dumping your resources into one specific model. Reliability matters more than just the first impression of a single render.

tbh sora has been super underwhelming for me lately. i had high hopes but the physics keep breaking on these complex historical prompts and its honestly not as good as expected for what they want to charge. unfortunately i think a lot of us are feeling that disappointment right now. if youre trying to save some money and actually get decent results just go with luma. you cant go wrong with their stuff and the free daily credits are a lifesaver when youre just starting out. just get any monthly plan from them and youll be way happier... let me know if you run into trouble with the settings tho, can definitely walk you through it if you get stuck.

VEO 2 is the best, but not available for public yet.
