Hey everyone,
Super curious about when Claude Opus 5 might be dropping! I've been following Anthropic's releases pretty closely, and I'm really excited to see what improvements they've made since Opus 4. I'm particularly interested in any potential upgrades to its reasoning abilities and if they've managed to further reduce hallucination rates.
Anyone have any insider info or educated guesses based on past release patterns? I'm trying to plan a project around using it, so knowing even a rough timeframe would be a huge help. Have there been any hints from Anthropic themselves about a possible release date? Thanks in advance for any insight!

Hey! Instead of just guessing dates, have you considered building a small prototype with the *current* Claude Opus, or even Sonnet? I totally get wanting the latest and greatest, but sometimes, iterating on a working model is way more productive than waiting for the 'perfect' tool.
Think of it like this: are you building a house, or just sketching blueprints? A solid foundation with Opus 4 (or even Sonnet!) might reveal unforeseen needs that Opus 5 might not even address. Plus, you'll have a head start when Opus 5 *does* drop. Just a thought! Hope this helps!
