honestly you need a dash, a reliable flash, and some info gathering like a reveal. i have been really satisfied using the Logitech G305 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse for my entry plays. it is super affordable and works well for those fast movements. no complaints here... just focus on those three and youll climb. good luck with the plat push!

Regarding what #1 said about needing a reveal... I politely disagree! For an aggressive entry, you really need area denial to force enemies out of corners. Mobility and flashes are also essential for taking space. I love my Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro Wireless 30K Optical Sensor for this! It is amazing and the lightweight design is fantastic for fast movement. Honestly, it is a fantastic tool for your plat climb tho!

Just jumped in to add some technical perspective! In my experience, climbing out of Gold into Plat requires a huge focus on frame-to-frame precision. You definitely want explosive displacement like satchels, combat sustain like stims for those fast resets, and high-impact utility clearing to remove trips or bots. To really nail those entries, focus on these technical essentials:

  • Rapid counter-strafing precision
  • High-velocity entry utility
  • Self-sufficient combat buffs I honestly struggled with my movement timing until I invested in the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL Wireless 2023 Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard which is absolutely amazing for its 0.1mm actuation point. It is a bit pricey at 250 dollars, but the data on my accuracy improvement was undeniable! If you want a cheaper technical boost, make sure your polling rates are maxed out in your software. It makes a world of difference for aggressive plays!
