Which programming languages are actually essential if I want to land an AI job by December? honestly im so fed up with these generic tutorials telling me to learn every single thing under the sun like i just spent three months grinding java and now i feel like it was a total waste of time for what i actually want to do... im super hyped to finally start building real models and i have about 500 bucks saved for a serious bootcamp or some certs but i dont want to throw that money away on the wrong stack. is it just python or should i be looking at c++ or r or something else entirely because every job board in seattle says something different and its driving me crazy trying to pick one to master

Java for AI is... a choice, but probably not the right one lol. Python is basically the industry standard and works for almost everything. I wasted time on the wrong stack too when I started out. Dont worry about Java.

  • Python: Easy to learn, huge library support.
  • C++: Better performance but way harder to master. Honestly, just grab O'Reilly Hands-On Machine Learning with Scikit-Learn Keras and TensorFlow 3rd Edition and focus on Python.

TL;DR: Python is mandatory, but mastering SQL is vital. I love O'Reilly Learning SQL 3rd Edition for data fundamentals! It's fantastic for building methodical pipelines. Truly amazing for AI!
