I'm really stressed about my budget for a sticker shop im launching by next week and I need an affordable AI generator fast. Right now im torn between the basic Midjourney sub for 10 bucks or just using the free credits on Leonardo, but im worried about the print quality. I also looked at Stable Diffusion but my laptop is a literal potato so local stuff is out.

My constraints:

  • Budget is under 15 bucks a month
  • Need it for 50+ designs ASAP
  • Must allow commercial use

Is that cheap Midjourney tier actually enough or will I run out of hours instantly? Or is there something else I missed?

In my experience, the Midjourney Basic Plan 200 Minutes Fast GPU is a bit of a gamble if you need 50 final designs by next week. Over the years, I have noticed that most people underestimate the number of rerolls needed to get a clean image suitable for stickers. If you spend 4 minutes per design, you are already at the limit. I have tried many platforms, and for your specific budget and laptop constraints, Leonardo.ai Artisan Plan 8500 Tokens is often more reliable. It allows for more experimentation without the constant fear of your hours hitting zero. Since you are launching a shop, commercial rights are non-negotiable, and their paid tiers cover that explicitly. Just remember to use their built-in upscaler because print quality is everything for physical merchandise. Ngl, it is better to have a small credit buffer than to be stuck with no generation power 48 hours before your launch.

You seriously have to try Ideogram AI Basic Plan! Its amazing for stickers because it handles text perfectly, unlike most others. Its only 7 bucks a month so you stay way under budget! Since your laptop is a potato, this cloud tool is a total lifesaver for 50+ designs. Youll love it! TL;DR: Use Ideogram Basic for cheap, high-quality stickers with perfect text.

I tried running some cloud-based setups last month but honestly, the upscaling was not as good as expected for physical stickers. Had issues with blurry edges at 300 DPI. Quick question tho... are you looking for a specific style like vector/flat art, or something more complex? That really changes which model you should aim for.
