I'm looking for recommendations that enhance productivity, improve writing, or provide quick access to ChatGPT features. Any insights on their functionalities and how they can be beneficial would be greatly appreciated!

ive been using ChatGPT for Google Extension for a few months and honestly im pretty satisfied with how it handles the technical side. it basically hooks into your search queries and triggers the openai api or web session right alongside standard results. i prefer the technical control it gives over the trigger mode... i set mine to only run when i end a query with a question mark. saves tons of tokens and stops the ui from getting cluttered. i also started using AIPRM for ChatGPT because i needed a more structured way to manage complex prompts for code optimization. the way it categorizes community-verified prompts by technical intent is a massive time saver. it works well without any weird lag or api hangs which is usually my main complaint with these wrapper extensions. no complaints really, it handles the json parsing and prompt injections smoothly.

Saw this earlier but just now getting around to it. Honestly i've been pretty let down by most of the big name extensions lately... they're mostly just cash grabs. I spent a week messing with Merlin AI Assistant and while the interface is clean, the free credit limit is basically useless. I burned through my daily allowance in like five minutes of research and the monthly sub costs as much as ChatGPT Plus itself which is just wild. If you're being budget conscious, i'd look into AIPRM for ChatGPT instead. The UI is a bit of a mess tbh but the community templates save so much time and you dont have to pay for the basic stuff. I also had high hopes for Monica AI Assistant but the pricing tiers are confusing and it got way too expensive once the trial ended... super disappointing. Just stick to the ones that let you use your own API key if you can find them, it's way cheaper than paying for a separate monthly subscription for every single tool.
