What are some good free chrome extensions for chatgpt that actually work?? i am so excited because i just started using it for my home bakery business in seattle to help me write descriptions for my instagram but i feel like im not using it right.

sorry if this is a dumb question but i have no idea where to even start with adding stuff to my browser or if it costs money because my budget is basically zero right now. i saw a video where someone had a thing that let them talk to chatgpt or get better prompts and it looked so helpful but i didnt catch the name... does anyone have any favorites they use every day for writing stuff?

Honestly been super satisfied with how these integrate lately. Before I list a few more technical options tho, im curious... what kind of computer are you using for your bakery stuff? Just want to make sure I dont suggest anything that might lag your browser if you have a ton of tabs open while baking. Especially since some of these tools can be pretty heavy on the RAM. I have no complaints about these two for a free setup:

  • WebChatGPT Internet Access Extension 4.1.2 : This one is great because it gives the AI access to the live web. It basically pulls in real-time search results so the AI knows about local Seattle trends. Low latency and works well.
  • Merlin AI Assistant GPT-4 Powered Extension : This is super handy because it works on any site. Its basically a sidebar that helps you write captions directly on your social pages. Both are pretty lightweight. Let me know your specs!

Totally agree with the others, those are solid. Unfortunately, some free tools start charging once you get going, which sucks. I had issues with a few that felt like bait-and-switches lately. If you're watching your budget, definitely try WebChatGPT Free AI Browser Extension for current trends. For your bakery captions, ChatGPT Writer Free AI Writing Assistant is actually reliable. It’s tough starting out but you’re doing great!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I’ve actually had some bad luck with those all-in-one extensions lately. Most of them claim to be free but then hit you with a tiny daily limit right when you're busy... it's super annoying when I'm trying to get my social media posts scheduled for the week. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with Merlin because of those limits. Instead, HARPA AI Automation Agent Chrome Extension has been much more reliable for my needs. It helps me scrape flavor trends from other bakeries or even check if my competitors in Seattle changed their pricing. It’s got a bit of a learning curve, but it doesn't nag you for money as much as others. Another handy tool is YouTube Summary with ChatGPT and Claude. It's great if you’re watching baking tutorials and just want a quick text summary of the steps or ingredients without sitting through a 20-minute video. Unfortunately, a different one I tried kept crashing my browser, but this one is solid. Just keep it simple because some of these tools are definitely not as good as expected once you actually start using them every day.

Omg you're gonna love these! I use them for my small biz too and they're totally free which is the best part. Seriously a life saver when my brain is fried from baking all day lol.

  • AIPRM for ChatGPT Browser Extension for amazing pre-made instagram prompts
  • Voice Control for ChatGPT Chrome Extension so you can just talk to it Give them a try, they make everything so much faster!!
