Late to the party but i wanted to chime in on the privacy side of things. I've tried many setups over the years and honestly, the big cloud ones always make me nervous about my data. If you want reliability and absolute control over your contacts and meetings, a DIY setup is the way to go. I personally use Obsidian paired with the Smart Connections Plugin for my internal knowledge base and tasks. It keeps everything local on my drive so I dont have to worry about some company's servers going down or sniffing my info. For meetings, I skip the cloud subscriptions entirely and run OpenAI Whisper Large v3 locally on my machine. It takes a bit more effort to set up than a one-click app, but it is super accurate and works without an internet connection. Plus, no monthly fees. It might feel a bit technical at first but once it's running, its the most stable setup I've ever had. If you decide to go the local route, let me know and I can point you toward some good guides.

I have been really satisfied with how my setup is running lately, it works well and I have zero complaints. To me, reliability is basically the biggest factor when choosing these things. I am not 100% sure but I think I heard that some of the open source local-first assistants are actually better for privacy and contacts now. Iirc some people are moving away from the big names for that reason because they want more control... Quick question tho, how many meetings are we talking about per day? I feel like the best choice really changes if you are doing like ten calls versus just two or three. I just want to make sure im suggesting the right type of thing for your workload.
