It pulls from such a massive web index that it often catches things the niche apps miss, tho you gotta be methodical about how you photograph the plant. Make sure to capture the underside of the leaves and the stem structure specifically. I also found that Pl@ntNet Plant Identification is a great free alternative that focuses more on the scientific side. Just be careful though... even with the best AI, I wouldnt bet my dogs health on a single scan. I always take the scientific name from the app and plug it into a manual search for toxicity. Its a bit more work but way safer in the long run.
