Ive been around the block enough times to know that waiting for Google to actually ship a usable product is a losing game. They announce these things then just leave everyone hanging for a year while the tech gets stale. I was so disappointed with their last rollout that I just went back to basics for reliability. If you actually want to get work done now instead of waiting for VEO 3, you're better off building a solid rig with something like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X and using established tools. I ended up getting Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 because at least it doesnt crash every five minutes like the experimental web tools do. Just my two cents... dont let the hype train derail your actual projects.

tbh googles release cycles are always a mess. unfortunately i doubt we see veo 3 for a long time. it reminds me of when i spent a fortune on my current workstation setup last year... i was so hyped for the latest specs but it just had issues with everything. i realized i basically wasted money chasing stuff that wasnt even stable yet. the older kit i had was actually more reliable and way cheaper in the long run. i guess i learned to just wait for things to actually exist before getting excited. anyway google usually moves at a snails pace so who knows.

Maybe in late 2025.

The VEO 2 is still in the waiting list for me.
