so I am beyond frustrated trying to pick a platform to actually learn AI this year because there are just too many options. im currently stuck between the coursera deep learning specialization and brilliant.org. my logic was that coursera is more 'official' for my resume since i need a new job by september but brilliant is way more engaging for my ADHD brain. im on a tight budget of like $35 a month so i really can only pick one. coursera feels like a grind but is brilliant actually deep enough to master the math part? i dont know which is the better investment for 2024 specifically...

OMG I saw this a few hours ago and just had to chime in because I am totally obsessed with learning AI right now!! Choosing is so scary when money is tight but you got this!
- DeepLearning.AI Deep Learning Specialization Coursera: This is definitely the safest bet for your resume! Andrew Ng is amazing and everyone in the tech world trusts this cert. It covers the heavy math like backpropagation and neural net architecture super deeply. It is a grind, but it feels so official and reliable for job hunting by September.
- Brilliant.org Premium Subscription Web/Mobile: I love this for the dopamine hits!! It makes the logic behind AI feel like a game which is fantastic for staying focused. It might not be deep enough for a technical role alone though. Maybe look at DataCamp Data Scientist with Python Career Track Interactive too? It is really structured and safe for beginners. You are gonna be great!!
