Hey everyone! I have been really interested in getting into artificial intelligence and machine learning lately, but my schedule is super packed. I spend about an hour and a half on the train every day commuting to work, and I feel like I am totally wasting that time just scrolling through social media. I would love to turn that commute into a productive study session using my Android phone or tablet.

I have looked around the Play Store, but it is honestly pretty overwhelming. I have tried some general coding apps like Mimo or Sololearn, which are great for basic Python, but I am looking for something that dives much deeper into AI-specific topics. I really want to find an app that covers:

Jumping in here because I am curious... what is your math background like? If you want to actually understand neural network architectures, you gotta have some linear algebra and calculus under your belt. For real depth, I would look at Coursera App Online Courses and Certificates since you can download Andrew Ngs courses for those train tunnels. It goes way deeper into technical theory and TensorFlow than the gamified apps usually do.

Since you need depth, Udacity App Nanodegree Programs offers the most rigorous technical projects, though the subscription cost is high. For daily commutes, Enki App Coding and Data Science is more practical with its offline mode and focuses on bite-sized technical drills. Be super careful with those expensive monthly subscriptions too. Many of these apps just give you a false sense of progress and you arent gonna learn how to troubleshoot. For real-world usage, try using your browser to read through official documentation for the big machine learning libraries instead. Its fantastic for building deep knowledge without the fluff! Downloading docs as PDFs works great for those train tunnels too. Just focus on the practical side first and let the math click as you go.
