Hey everyone! I’ve been really struggling to stay on top of my classes this semester. My current manual planner just isn't cutting it when deadlines start shifting around. I’m looking for an AI-powered app that can actually learn my habits and help me build a realistic study schedule. Ideally, I’d love something that automatically adjusts if I miss a session and integrates with my Google Calendar. I’ve heard about tools like Reclaim or Motion, but I’m not sure if they’re student-friendly or worth the price tag. Does anyone have experience using AI to balance a heavy course load without burning out? Which specific apps would you recommend for keeping everything organized?
> I’ve heard about tools like Reclaim or Motion, but I’m not sure if they’re student-friendly... In my experience, Reclaim.ai beats Motion AI Task Manager or Sunsama cuz its cheaper, tho they all work—it literally saved me from burnout last semester, realy decent option...
So basically the consensus is Reclaim.ai is the budget pick, tho some find AI planners glitchy. Safety is key—u don't want to miss a deadline cuz the AI messed up! - Trevor AI: Super reliable and simple.
- Clockwise: Great for GCal but usually better for meetings. Personally, I’d go with Trevor for the stability. It’s saved me during finals over the years... anyway, gl!

saw this earlier but just now getting a chance to chime in. honestly i have tried so many of those shiny ai planners and they were such a letdown. unfortunately most of them just broke the second i had a busy week or missed one deadline which is so frustrating. basically they arent as good as expected for the price and i had issues with the logic they use. im curious tho, what is your tech comfort level? like are you looking for something you can build yourself or do you need it to be ready to go immediately? im still messily trying to piece together a diy system because nothing pre-made works right for me:
sooo i've been a student for years and tried every 'smart' planner out there. honestly... most were a letdown. i used to rely on flashy apps but unfortunately they usually ended up being more work than the classes. i remember trying FlowSavvy (i think?) and it totally fell apart the second i got sick for a few days. it just wasn't as good as expected, you know? iirc some people say Trevor AI is a better budget pick, but i havent checked it lately. Before I give advice, can you clarify if you're looking for something totally free or if you've got a bit of a budget? Here's the deal:
- SkedPal is highkey powerful but has a massive learning curve
- FlowSavvy is okay but the free version is kinda nerfed lesson learned: dont trust the 'AI' label too much, usually it's just overpriced marketing!!
> Ideally, I’d love something that automatically adjusts if I miss a session and integrates with my Google Calendar. Ok so if ur tired of the pre-baked apps, maybe try a more DIY technical approach? Honestly, most AI planners are basically just expensive wrappers. I’ve had way better luck using a logic-based setup instead of a dedicated service. It takes some technical overhead but it is SO much more reliable for a heavy course load.
