Hey everyone! I have been trying to learn more about AI lately, but since I spend over two hours a day on the train, I really need a solid mobile app to study on. Most platforms I find are great for desktop, but the mobile apps are usually clunky or lack the interactive practice I need to actually learn anything.

I am specifically looking for an app that covers:

  • Machine learning fundamentals
  • Neural networks and deep learning
  • Python coding for AI

I have tried a few big names, but they often feel like just watching videos without any coding playgrounds or quizzes. Does anyone know which mobile app offers the most comprehensive and high-quality AI training courses?

If you want actual interactive problem-solving rather than just passive video watching, you should check out Brilliant.org Premium Annual Subscription with Computer Science and Neural Network tracks. It focuses heavily on the logic behind neural networks and deep learning. Their mobile interface is optimized for bite-sized learning, and they use active learning techniques that force you to engage with the math and theory. For the coding side specifically, Sololearn PRO Python and Machine Learning Course is probably your best bet for a mobile-first IDE. It has a built-in compiler that handles Python libraries quite well for a phone app. Most apps fail at the coding playground part, but Sololearn handles the syntax and logic checks surprisingly well. Ive tracked my progress on both and the retention rate is way higher when youre forced to solve puzzles instead of just staring at a screen.

Honestly DataCamp Mobile App Premium Subscription with Python and AI Tracks is the way to go. It has specific modules for ML fundamentals with a mobile IDE that actually works.

Jumping in here, I definitely agree that most mobile tools are way too shallow for serious deep learning logic. Before you commit to a subscription, check if your local library or workplace provides free access to the bigger professional learning platforms, imo. Its a lot safer than trusting your data to a random new app, and it keeps your costs low while ensuring you get a recognized certificate.

Been using this for years, no complaints
