Im losing my mind trying to make sense of these massive excel files for my small business. My budget is pretty tight right now, maybe 30 bucks a month tops, and I need to get this quarterly report finalized by Friday because my boss is breathing down my neck. I tried using the standard ChatGPT data analysis features but it keeps timing out on me or losing the context of the columns when I upload the csvs, honestly its super frustrating because I dont have time to manually scrub all this data.
Ive been looking at a few alternatives online but I have no idea if they actually work or if they are just data scraping scams. Ive narrowed it down to Noteable, Julius AI, and maybe even just sticking it out with LangChain if I can figure out the setup, though I am not a developer at all so that might be over my head. Julius seems really popular but im worried about the privacy aspect since this is sensitive sales info. Noteable looks cool for the notebook style interface but im not sure if it handles messy dirty data as well as advertised.
I really dont want to waste money on a sub that doesnt work, especially since I need this done in like 48 hours. Is there actually a reliable third-party tool for data analysis that wont break the bank or leak my files everywhere? Im so anxious about messing up these numbers and sending a bad report to the board. Does anyone have experience with these or should I just try to fix my workflow in the basic version of chatgpt and hope it doesnt crash again...

^ This. Also, honestly, I had a pretty rough time with those cloud-based tools when I was under a deadline. I tried Julius AI Data Analysis Platform for a bit but it was not as good as expected for messy datasets and privacy felt like a total gamble for business sales info. Unfortunately, those notebook-style interfaces get super slow when your CSVs hit a certain size. If you need this done by Friday and dont want to code, just use Microsoft Excel 365 Data Analysis built-in features instead. Its way more reliable for raw numbers than a browser plugin that might time out. Clean the columns in a separate sheet first, remove any weird characters, and then run your pivots. Its boring, but it wont crash on you when the board is waiting.

Had a moment to think about your deadline. Honestly, skip the fancy tools for now. I used to burn hours on plugins until I just stuck to Microsoft Excel 365 Enterprise Business Data Analysis with their built-in Power Query. It handles messy rows way better than any AI prompt. Just strip your CSV down to the bare essentials before uploading. Seriously, clean data saves you way more time than any subscription ever will.
