I really need to speed up my work for this new marketing gig I landed for a local bakery here in Seattle and I keep hearing about these ChatGPT extensions for Chrome but honestly I am so lost. My logic was that if I could just have the AI right there in my browser it would save me like hours of copying and pasting back and forth between tabs but I dont even know how to install them or which ones are safe. Are there ones that are free because my budget is basically zero right now. I tried looking at the store but there are like a million options and its super overwhelming... which ones actually work for just everyday stuff like writing emails or summarizing pages? I need to get this sorted by Monday or Im gonna fall behind.

tbh if youre drowning in emails Compose AI Chrome Extension v1.0 is a lifesaver since it integrates directly into your browser fields. for research and summaries Perplexity AI Chrome Extension 2024 is the play. it pulls actual citations while summarizing pages so you arent just guessing. both have solid free tiers that wont break your budget.

I tested Monica AI Assistant Free Plan but the daily query limit is too restrictive for professional use. MaxAI.me Chat with AI is better for summarizing, though the interface is quite cluttered. Lastly, Merlin AI Chrome Extension is okay for emails, but the performance wasnt as good as expected. None feel truly seamless yet.
