im honestly so done with the vanilla chatgpt interface because it keeps losing my prompts and the copy-paste thing is driving me crazy for my blog posts. i have literally zero budget for a pro sub right now. what are the best free browser extensions for chatgpt to actually make it usable?

ive been messing around with chatgpt since it first launched and yeah... the vanilla interface is basically held together by duct tape sometimes lol. if you're worried about losing your prompts, you might want to consider Superpower ChatGPT Browser Extension Chrome Firefox. it saves your chat history locally and lets you create folders which is a lifesaver for organization. be careful though because some extensions can be a bit of a privacy nightmare or just break the site completely when openai pushes an update. i would suggest doing these things:

  • check the permissions before you install anything
  • use the export feature to save your blog drafts as markdown
  • sync your data manually once in a while just in case the copy-paste stuff is way better with it too since it adds a dedicated button that doesnt grab all the weird background formatting. just dont go overboard with too many extensions at once or your browser might start crawling.

Like someone mentioned, Superpower is okay, but be careful. It glitched and ate my draft yesterday, ngl. I suggest:

  • AIPRM for ChatGPT Chrome Extension Free It's way more stable for blog work.
