im freaking out because i have to get this deepseek v4 pro api up for a client demo next wednesday and my budget is strictly 300 bucks.
aws seems way too expensive and i heard lambda labs is always out of stock for the good gpus. what host is actually reliable for this?
To add to the point above: if you are really watching every cent for this demo, I actually went through a similar crunch last month when I needed to host a large model on a shoestring. My experience with Vast.ai Verified NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada 48GB clusters was surprisingly solid for the price. While it is a marketplace and can feel a bit like the wild west, sticking to the verified hosts usually saves you the major headaches. Here are a few things I learned while trying to keep my own costs under that $300 mark:
I've been in that spot before and it's stressful. For a demo, I'd probably go with RunPod since their instances are easy to spin up. Maybe check out RunPod Secure Cloud NVIDIA A100 80GB because it stays within your budget if you only run it when needed.
> aws seems way too expensive and i heard lambda labs is always out of stock Unfortunately, Lambda Labs inventory has been really unreliable lately. I had issues with their instance availability during a deployment last month and it just wasnt as good as expected for a professional demo. You should check out Vultr GPU Cloud NVIDIA H100 PCIe instead. They offer the professional stability you need and should easily fit that 300 dollar budget for a week.
