Are there reliable AI tools for solving complex math problems?

Is there actually an AI tool that can handle college-level calculus without getting the answers totally wrong? Im sorry if this is a super basic question but I am losing my mind over here. I started a bridge course for an engineering degree in Ohio and the math is just way harder than I remember from high school. I tried using ChatGPT for some of my practice problems but it keeps hallucinating steps or just giving me a completely random number that makes zero sense.

Its honestly so frustrating because I feel like I am wasting my time and money on a tutor I cant afford right now. I have a midterm coming up in like two weeks and I just need something that can actually walk me through the logic instead of just guessing. Do people actually use these things for homework or am I just being lazy and need to suffer through the textbook?
