I am currently launching a small skincare line on a tight budget and realized that professional product photography is just too expensive for me right now. I have experimented with a few basic generators, but I really struggle to get consistent lighting and realistic textures for my glass bottles. I need a tool that can place my specific product into different lifestyle settings while keeping the shadows and reflections looking natural. I am looking for something relatively user-friendly that does not require complex prompt engineering.

  • Must handle realistic reflections and glass
  • Budget-friendly for a startup
  • Easy background swapping

What are the best AI tools you have used specifically for e-commerce products that look truly high-end?

Curious about one thing: what's your monthly limit? Actually, in my research:

  • Mokker AI (Free)
  • Booth AI ($25/mo) The $25 plan is highkey better for reflections, but both are realy budget friendly tho!!

Yo! Oh man, I feel u so much on this... professional photography costs are lowkey insane when youre just starting out! Honestly, I’ve been through the exact same struggle with glass bottles because the reflections always look so fake in cheap generators. For your situation, I would suggest checking out Flair AI Professional Plan. I’ve used it for a few projects and it is seriously a lifesaver for skincare brands! It handles glass and liquid textures reallyyy well and the way it places shadows makes it look like a pro actually shot it in a studio. Another fantastic one is Pebblely Pro. It’s super budget-friendly and basically handles all the background swapping for you without needing complex prompts. If you want something that’s part of a bigger toolkit, Canva Pro Magic Studio is actually surprisingly good now for product photos. But ngl, Flair AI Professional Plan is the goat for those high-end lifestyle shots where you need the lighting to look perfect on a glass bottle. It saved me a ton of money and the results were amazing!! So yeah, basically start with Flair AI Professional Plan or maybe Pebblely Pro and see which vibe fits your brand better. Youre gonna love how easy it is compared to fighting with manual prompts... gl with the launch! 👍

Totally agree with the above! Flair is pretty much the best for tricky glass. Basically, getting realistic reflections requires a tool that understands depth maps and lighting layers, otherwise the bottle looks fake. Saw this earlier and wanted to ask a couple questions before suggesting budget options:

  • Are you uploading your own photos or generating from scratch?
  • What is your monthly budget? Knowing that helps narrow down the specs!

Ok so, i tried a bunch of these and honestly... most of them suck at glass. The reflections always look like they are floating or just totally wrong which is super frustrating when you are on a budget. For your situation, I would suggest Flair AI because it handles the lighting placement way better than the generic tools, at least i think so. Here is what i recommend trying:

  • Use Flair AI for the drag-and-drop lifestyle scenes
  • Check out Mokker AI since it specifically focuses on product physics Unfortunately, I still had issues with the glass edges getting blurry sometimes, but these two are basically the best I found for a startup. Just make sure you use a high-res photo of your bottle or the AI just gets confused. Plus, they both have free trials so you dont lose money if it looks bad. gl!
