so I was thinking about how to cut costs for my freelance copy gigs because paying 20 bucks a month for chatgpt plus is starting to hurt my wallet. I do some work for a local boutique and my budget is strictly under 15 bucks a month. my logic was there has to be a cheaper way to get high quality output. I looked at copy.ai but their free tier is so limited and then I saw people mention using an api key but that sounds way too techy for me. is there a hidden gem for pro writing that wont break the bank? I just need it for long form blogs and social captions...

In my experience, you dont need that $20 sub for pro results. Over the years I've tried many ways to stay under budget. Back when I was broke, I had to scrape together free credits just to finish work...

  • Writesonic Individual Plan is usually cheaper.
  • Anthropic Claude 3.5 Sonnet is killer for long form. Quick question tho, what specifically feels too techy about using an API key?

I totally get the struggle of trying to keep costs down while still getting top-tier results! Honestly you dont need to pay 20 bucks a month for high-end copywriting anymore because there are some amazing gems out there that are way cheaper and just as powerful.

  • Rytr Saver Plan is a fantastic choice for about 9 dollars. It has specific templates for social captions that are honestly better than raw chat prompts and totally fits your budget.
  • Microsoft Copilot is literally free and runs GPT-4 under the hood... it is such a lifesaver for long blogs if you use the creative mode. It gives you that premium model feel for zero dollars.
  • Simplified AI Writer Pro has a tier right around 11 dollars that is basically a powerhouse for marketing copy and includes some cool design tools too. Dont feel like you have to stick with the big names! These smaller tools are specifically built for the workflow you're doing anyway. You're gonna kill it with these!
