• Honestly, I wouldn't say VEO is better across the board. I spent most of yesterday benchmarking different outputs on my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24GB setup and the results were kinda mixed. Reliability is a huge factor for me and VEO still struggles with some basic physics in long-form generation. I was trying to generate a simple sequence of water pouring into a glass for a demo. VEO made the water look like mercury after a few seconds. I ended up having way more success with Runway Gen-3 Alpha Turbo because the temporal consistency actually holds up for professional use. If you're looking for something that works today instead of waiting for a Sora 2 release date that might be a year away, give Luma Dream Machine a shot too. It handles complex lighting much better than most people give it credit for. Sora 2 is probably still in the oven because OpenAI is notoriously picky about fixing those logic errors before a wide rollout. Dont expect it anytime soon tbh.
