Honestly I am so tired of playing duelists and just getting absolutely slaughtered the second I step on site. I have been stuck in Silver 3 for like three months now and it feels like every time I try to entry my team just sits back in the main entrance and watches me die. I mainly play Jett but my dash just feels useless lately because I fly in and get tapped instantly by a Cypher trip or some random molly. It's so tilting.
I even upgraded to a 240hz monitor last week thinking it would help me react faster but nope still getting wrecked. I'm honestly thinking about switching off Jett entirely because it's just not working for me anymore. Maybe I need more utility to actually survive the push? Like should I be looking at Phoenix for the flashes or maybe Neon for the movement speed or what. I need something that can actually clear corners or give me a fighting chance when my teammates are too scared to follow me in.
What are the absolute best agent skills for actually surviving an entry frag when you're basically doing it solo? Is it better to have flashes or movement stuff or like a shield? I just want to stop being the first one on the scoreboard with 0 kills and 15 deaths every single game...
> I fly in and get tapped instantly Are you utilizing an 8K polling rate mouse like the Razer Viper V3 Pro 8KHz Wireless? It's fantastic for minimizing input latency!
yo, silver 3 is a total meat grinder for entry players. honestly, the team baiting you is a classic story. glad you upgraded to a 240hz screen like maybe the ZOWIE XL2546K 24.5 Inch 240Hz Gaming Monitor, but even with those 4.17ms frame times, you cant react to a cypher trip that is already triggered. you might want to consider switching to raze over jett if you are constantly getting stuck in setups. her boombot is basically an automated drone that clears trips for you, and the paint shells grenades deal massive area damage to flush out campers from those tight corners. i would suggest looking at phoenix too if you feel totally alone on site. his curveball has one of the shortest wind-ups in the game and in silver people basically never dodge it. plus, having the ability to heal yourself with blaze or hot hands is a massive advantage when your teammates are scared to push with you. just be careful with the wall tho, i have seen so many people accidentally block their own vision and get knifed. if you really want to stick with high-speed movement, neon is an option, but her slide mechanic is way riskier without backup. honestly, i think raze is the safer bet for solo-entry because she actually destroys the utility that is killing you. make sure your mouse is solid too, maybe check out the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse with its 2k polling rate, because those flick shots after a blast pack jump are everything. stay patient, silver is just kinda like that sometimes...
