So Ive been running a dedicated Openclaw build for months now, mostly focusing on crit chance and evasion, but ever since the latest patch hit last Tuesday, my damage output feels like absolute trash. I usually play late at night when the servers are less laggy here on the east coast, and honestly it was fine until now. Im sitting on a decent gear set with maxed out dexterity mods, but everything just feels sluggish. I feel like the scaling on the core passives changed or something, and I cant figure out if I should be dumping points into Shred or if the bleed path is even viable for endgame raids anymore. Ive tried swapping out my secondary nodes but it feels like a total waste of gold. Its getting super frustrating trying to keep up with the party when I used to be top of the charts. Do you guys think I should pivot to a full burst rotation or is there a specific skill tree path that actually works for DPS right now without needing a complete gear overhaul?
Honestly, I have been playing Openclaw since the beta and sticking to the bleed path is just setting yourself up for failure right now. In my experience, the meta shifts so fast that burning gold on constant resets is a trap. I would suggest you stop chasing the expensive high-tier gear and just focus on getting your timing right with the burst rotation instead. It is way more reliable for raid uptime. Make sure your input latency is not the real issue though. I switched over to the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 25.6k DPI recently and it made a massive difference in hitting those burst windows consistently without lag spikes. Just keep your setup simple and stop overthinking the passives for a bit.
Man, that patch definitely messed with the scaling, but dont give up yet. I found that ignoring the bleed path and going pure burst works way better now. It costs way less gold to respec into the crit nodes, which is nice.
Jumping in here because that patch totally ruined my flow too! Before you waste more gold on respecs, what exactly is your current crit multiplier sitting at? Knowing that helps narrow down if you need more flat damage or if you should just lean into burst. Personally, I stopped bothering with the bleed nodes entirely. It is honestly way too slow for the current raid timers. Here is what is working for me right now:
