Honestly so fed up with my current study routine. Im trying to wrap my head around organic chemistry for my upcoming exam in three weeks and my textbooks just feel like they are written in ancient hieroglyphics or something. I tried using ChatGPT but half the time it just gives me super generic answers or straight up hallucinates steps that dont make sense and im losing my mind. Im not looking for a chatbot that acts like a dictionary, I need something that actually breaks down complex logic so I can retain it.

Im in the UK and my budget is pretty tight since I am a student, maybe like 20-30 quid max for a monthly subscription if it is actually worth it. I just need something that acts like a legit tutor that keeps me on track instead of just dumping info on me.

Here is what I need:

• Needs to handle technical diagrams or at least let me upload my own notes
• Must have some kind of active recall or flashcard system built in because otherwise I will just forget everything
• Ideally something that doesnt feel like a generic LLM wrapper that lies to me
• Must be affordable or have a really good free tier

Im really at my wits end here. Does anyone actually use an AI tool that makes learning hard stuff feel less like pulling teeth? Im open to literally anything at this point because if I fail this module again I might just lose it. Has anyone found something that actually works for STEM subjects without being totally useless...
