trying to fix up my bakery's tiktok videos but I'm on a shoestring budget, maybe $15 a month tops. stuck between:

  • capcut desktop pro
  • invideo

both seem okay but im worried about the learning curve. which one is actually the cheapest for someone who just needs auto-captions and quick ai cuts?

Unfortunately, I had issues with Invideo AI Plus Plan being way too clunky for quick edits. It just wasnt as good as expected. CapCut Desktop Pro Monthly Subscription is better for your $15 budget, though the desktop version can be buggy sometimes. Its a shame they arent more reliable, but you can definitely make it work for your bakery videos. Just keep at it!

Tbh if youre looking for that $15 sweet spot and want the best AI captions, you should definitely look into Descript Creator Plan. It works differently than standard editors because you edit the video by editing the text transcript. It feels more like a Word doc than a traditional timeline. For a bakery where you might be talking about ingredients or process, its basically a lifesaver for cutting out dead air automatically. The AI voice cloning and studio sound features are also top tier for cleaning up noisy kitchen audio. Another solid route if you want to stay under budget is Veed.io Basic Monthly Subscription. Their auto-captioning engine is super accurate for TikTok styles and it has some decent AI tools for resizing and background removal. The learning curve isnt nearly as steep as something like Premiere or Resolve, so you wont spend hours watching tutorials just to get a video out. If you have a decent computer and want to avoid monthly fees entirely, DaVinci Resolve 18 Free Version is the industry standard for color grading, which would make your pastries look amazing. However, the auto-captioning feature is technically locked behind the paid Studio version. For your specific bakery needs, sticking to web-based AI tools is probably more efficient because they handle the heavy lifting on their servers. Just keep an eye on the monthly export minutes tho because those limits can sneak up on you pretty fast when youre posting daily.
