I've been trying to wrap my head around how all this generative stuff actually works since my design agency in London is starting a big automation project in like three weeks and I dont want to look clueless. I looked at Brilliant because the UI is nice but it seems really heavy on the math side and I'm more of a visual person honestly. Then I saw Khan Academy has some AI stuff but it feels a bit geared towards students? I'm looking for an app I can use on the tube during my commute that covers the actual concepts without making me do calculus. Is there something better than those two for a total beginner who just wants the basics?

  • I used Enki AI and Coding App Annual Plan when my old firm switched to automation. It works well for visual learners because it uses cards, not formulas.
  • daily 5-minute lessons
  • covers prompt engineering
  • affordable monthly price I think it costs about 12 dollars a month. Way better than Khan Academy if youre just trying to survive a work meeting.

i would suggest being a bit careful with high-priced apps until youve tried the free stuff. since youre watching your budget, you might want to consider:

  • checking if your library card gives you LinkedIn Learning Monthly Premium Plan for free
  • looking into Google AI Essentials Course on Coursera for their free trial make sure to check reviews so you dont waste money on something too math-heavy... better safe than sorry.
