so im trying to get my dog training channel off the ground here in seattle and honestly im freaking out a bit because I have zero time to sit and edit for hours. my logic was that I could just find an AI tool that does the heavy lifting like cutting out the silence and maybe adding some captions automatically. I looked into Descript because everyone says its the gold standard but when I tried the trial it felt more like a word document and I got so confused on how to actually make a video look like a video and not just a transcript... then I saw OpusClip mentioned on reddit but that seems mostly for shorts and tiktok stuff and I really need help with my longer 10 minute instructional videos.
my budget is super tight like maybe $25 a month max because starting a small business is expensive as it is and I need to start posting by next friday or I'm gonna lose my momentum. so I was thinking maybe there's something else out there that I missed? some people say Adobe is adding AI stuff but that's way too pricey for me right now and seems like a huge learning curve. is there anything that just takes the raw phone footage and makes it look decent without me having to become a pro editor overnight? im just so worried i'll buy a subscription and then realize it doesn't even do what I need or it's too complicated to figure out before my deadline...
Honestly, I've tried many different tools over the years and I totally get why Descript feels weird. It's great for some, but if you want your video to actually feel like a video and not a script, it's a bit of a hurdle. In my experience, there are two tools that actually fit your specific dog training setup and budget perfectly.
