Im struggling to anchor B site on Bind in my solo queue gold games. Guides say Cyphers trips are best but others swear by Killjoys nanoswarms for stopping hard rushes, especially after the recent patch changes. Which agent skills are actually the absolute best for holding down a defensive site solo?

Actually, Cypher is still statistically superior for Bind B, but you have to be careful with your setup. Make sure to place your trips at waist height, around 1.2 meters off the ground, so duelists cant easily crouch under or jump over them. If they are rushing with a Raze, your trips will get destroyed by paint shells, so you might want to consider placing them deeper on site rather than in Hookah or Long. Also, reaction time is everything when anchoring solo. I recently switched to the BenQ Zowie XL2546K 24.5 Inch 240Hz Gaming Monitor and the DyAc technology genuinely helps with tracking targets through cages when they push. If youre struggling with the timing, check your frame times. But yeah, keep Cypher, just vary your trip heights every round or they will pre-fire them.

  • Honestly, after playing sentinel for three years, Cypher is great but Killjoy and Viper are way more forgiving in solo queue when your team gives zero comms. Here is how I stack them up for anchoring B:
  • Killjoy Nanoswarms: Best for raw damage. If you pair them with an Alarmbot, you get easy free kills on rushes. The downside is good players will shoot them before activating, so you have to get creative with placements.
  • Viper Fuel Utilities: Best for stalling. The decay from her cloud burst plus a snake bite makes pushing through Hookah basically suicide. It buys your team 15 seconds to rotate. Only downside is you need to know your lineups. Also, having a fast display like the BenQ ZOWIE XL2546K 24.5 inch 240Hz helps you react instantly when they pop through the smokes, but utility wise, these two are your best bet.

Honestly, anchoring Bind solo can be a nightmare if your team just leaves you to dry. I have been stuck in gold way too long, and honestly, sometimes utility isnt even the main issue, its just having the right gear to react fast enough. I upgraded my peripherals last month and it made a world of difference for catching those entry players off guard.

  • Try swapping to a high refresh rate monitor from BenQ Zowie if you havent yet, the motion clarity is just better for tracking.
  • Check out any mouse from Logitech G series, honestly their sensor tech is just more reliable than most. I personally prefer sticking with initiators when things get chaotic. Sometimes just being able to flash or stun the entry is better than hoping your traps survive the initial utility dump. Just be careful about pushing up too far if you dont have backup, you might want to consider playing for retake if they commit heavy util early. Hang in there, you will climb out of gold soon!
