Im so hyped to finally start climbing out of silver this season. Ive been playing pretty much every night after work in the Chicago servers and it feels like my aim is finally getting decent but my utility usage is still absolute trash. Ive been scouring the wikis and watching a few pro breakdowns but honestly im still lost. I read on some subreddit that entry duelists are the only way to carry yourself out of low elo, but then another post said playing a controller like Omen is actually better because you can just smoke off everything for your teammates who have no idea what theyre doing. Like, do I just focus on pure fragging power or is supporting the team with actual utility more consistent for solo queue? Im trying to get to gold before the act ends in a few weeks and im willing to put in the time to learn whoever I need to. Is there a specific agent build or playstyle that actually works when your team is totally uncoordinated, or am I just overthinking this and should just stick to one character until I master them...
Honestly, stop overthinking it and just master Riot Games Valorant Cypher or Riot Games Valorant Killjoy. Holding down sites with setup data carries way harder than chasing aim duels solo.
> do I just focus on pure fragging power or is supporting the team with actual utility more consistent Honestly, just lock Riot Games Valorant Omen. You can carry yourself while controlling the map, no complaints here.
Re: > do I just focus on pure fragging... Honestly, I tried grinding duelists but it was miserable. Just play any initiator from Sova and you'll climb easier. Solo queue is rough.
