Okay so I just downloaded this game because my older brother told me I have to play with his group on Saturday night and I'm lowkey panicking because I dont know anything. I was thinking that since I cant aim for my life maybe I should just focus on helping the team? Like what skills are actually good for that? My logic was maybe healing is the best but then I saw someone using these weird reveal arrows and now I'm just confused. I dont want to pick an agent that needs a ton of skill to be useful. Is there a specific type of utility that helps everyone even if the person using it is a total noob? Like what should I be looking for so I dont just get in the way...
Reveal arrows are Sovas kit and they require specific lineups. I would suggest staying away from him for now. Stick to Sage for healing utility. Just be careful with her walls, you might trap your group if you arent paying attention to the map data. Maybe get a Logitech G502 HERO 25K Sensor Gaming Mouse too, the 25,600 DPI sensor helps when youre still learning to aim.
stumbled upon this... @Reply #2 - good point! If you're really worried about aiming tho, I would suggest trying Killjoy. Her turret watches your back and alerts the team. It's basically free utility. Be careful not to place it in obvious spots tho...
^ This. Also, I actually disagree about healing being the priority. Smoke utility offers better data-backed map control. I'm satisfied with Brimstone since his kit is simple point-and-click. It works well if you have a solid board like the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL OmniPoint 2.0 Switches for precise deployment. Honestly, blocking sightlines for 19 seconds is the highest utility floor you can provide even if you dont have aim.
