Honestly, Sova is inconsistent solo. I had issues with his drone timing. Try Riot Games Fade for the seize tether, or maybe Riot Games Gekko Wingman for easy site entries.

Saw this earlier but just now getting to the keys. Honestly, if you aren't on comms, stop relying on pure recon. I spent a whole week trying to force Riot Games Sova Recon Bolt plays but kept getting traded because my team was too scared to peek. You might want to consider someone like Riot Games Skye Guiding Light instead. I learned the hard way that her flash gives you way more control over how your team engages. You basically just send the bird and they naturally push when the enemy gets blinded. Just be careful with the timing though, because if you pop it too early you might flash your own teammates. I usually run her with Riot Games Vandal just in case I need to clean up the kills myself.

@Reply #2 - good point! Honestly, if you want utility that actually secures rounds, you really gotta look at initiators who can blind or stun on reaction. If nobody is talking, you need abilities that have audio cues your team can recognize as a green light to peek. I have been grinding a lot lately and honestly just finding someone who can set up a flash or a concussive blast makes such a huge difference for site execution. It is all about the frame data and reaction timing windows for those utility pieces. Speaking of timing, I spent all last night trying to get my new monitor set up because the refresh rate was acting super weird. It was honestly a nightmare dealing with the display port cables and trying to force the monitor to output 144hz properly without flickering. I ended up spending like four hours just reading through driver logs and manual settings just to realize the cable was faulty the whole time. My desk is a complete wreck now with wires everywhere and I still haven't even cleaned up the mess.
